Reading and Learning
Most Americans get their knowledge about nutrition from the media (TV, magazines, the internet and newspapers) or from their un-informed network of family, friends & doctors. After doing some serious reading on your own, you may find that your previous source of information was hazardous to your health.
Learning the truth about nutrition can be an exciting experience; it certainly was for me. Out of over 100 books read, my favorite seven are featured here.
Whenever I meet people who seem to have an interest in learning more about nutrition, I usually refer them to one of these books. Take a look at the summaries for each book by clicking on the title. All seven of. All seven of them can be purchased (used) for a grand total of less than $50 on Amazon.
I am confident that the knowledge gained from these and other books will change your life for the better in some way. In addition to these seven, there are many others at the bottom of the right column. Also, please visit my Preferred Links (See left column) for more information. Sincerely, Jim Hicks
