Leveraging the Power of Plant-Based Nutrition to Help You Take Charge of Your Health
Introduction
My program is aimed primarily at promoting health by helping you move as rapidly as possible to a near-optimal diet. Effortless weight-loss is just a convenient by-product. As the body is given the nutrients that it needs, it will seek its ideal weight...and those pounds will STAY OFF as long as you continue with the superior diet. You may not immediately look like a super model, but if you are carrying some excess pounds, I can guarantee that you will lose some of those pounds.
But weight control is just one of the many benefits of an optimal diet. Others include reduction or complete elimination of all prescription drugs (including E.D. drugs), more energy, better sleep, less body odor of all kinds, better sex, zero constipation (no more need for magazines in the bathroom), no heartburn, saving money on food (especially when eating out), getting sick less frequently, better eyesight, return of hair color, clearer complexion and a general improvement in overall health. You will also save a lot of money on medical bills and insurance.
Longer term, an optimal diet will greatly lessen your chances of developing chronic diseases and spending your final days in a nursing home. If you have cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes already, you can more than likely reverse it with a near-optimal diet. You may also be able to arrest any cancerous activity that is currently taking place but hasn't been diagnosed yet. Also, by consuming an optimal diet, you will be doing more for the environment than driving a Prius, conserving water in the home, or putting solar panels on your roof. You will also be voting with every bite to end our barbaric method of factory farming that is currently providing about 99% of all of the animal foods being consumed.

B. First Consultation. We will meet for one hour and discuss the following:
Objectives. What would you like to achieve with this program?
Most Important. Which is more important to you? Health or Weight-loss?
Weight History. How much did you weigh when you finished high school? How much do you weigh now? What is the most you have ever weighed? What is the least you have weighed in recent years? How did you achieve that weight?
History of dieting to lose weight. What diets have you tried? How did you feel about them? Did you keep the weight off? For how long?
Medications. What medications are you taking? For how long?
Exercise History. How much are you exercising now? What types of exercises?
FourLeaf Estimate. Administer questionnaire to estimate current percent of calories from whole, plant-based foods.
Homework. Talk about which book to read before your next consultation. I will give you the book free of charge. Talk about which pages of Harmony Earth to read before your next consultation.
Bio-Markers. Arrange with your doctor or lab to document your HDL, LDL and Total Cholesterol; Blood Pressure, and Weight. We will want to measure your progress.
No Changes Yet. Don't start making any changes yet; the first step is education followed by a plan of action. We'll talk about that in the next session.

C. Second Consultation. (After one or two weeks)
D. Future Consultations.
Frequency. I envision anywhere from two to six consultations (every one or two weeks) prior to determining what commitment you would like to make. (4 to 12 weeks)
Commence Changes. Diet and Exercise. I will always recommend the full-blown Twelve Week Challenge but will work with you on whichever program you choose. For exercise, my recommendation is simple; 60 to 90 minutes of brisk walking per day...approximately 10,000 steps.
Future Sessions. Meet every two weeks or so throughout the Six Week Challenge. After that, meet once per month for a few months; then once every two months until end of first year.
Content of Each Session. We will focus each session on what has happened since the last session, what problems you have encountered and what questions you may have. We will continue to stress education at every session.
Tips and Support. Throughout our time together, I will share many tips with you on shopping, meal planning, ordering in restaurants, eating in friend's homes, etc.
Measuring Results. At each session, I will ask you for the latest data regarding bio-markers and weight. I will prepare a graph in Excel that I can email to you for your records.
